Pitra Sharadh

The Dharmik Bharat Yatra Foundation is dedicated to conducting Pitra Sharadh in Varanasi, adhering to the sacred rituals outlined in the Vedas. Our knowledgeable priests are adept at performing the shraddha ceremony in a meticulous manner, ensuring solace for the departed souls.

Varanasi, or Kashi, stands as one of the seven most crucial Tirth Kshetras for Sharadh Karma. The utterance of the word “Kashi” resonates deeply with our ancestors, drawing them towards this sacred city in eager anticipation of Tarpan and Sharadh ceremonies.

It is the sacred duty of devotees to fulfill the expectations of their Pitra Devtas by actively participating in Shradh rituals within the sanctified Avimukta Kshetra of Kashi.

In accordance with Section 28, Shloka 8 of the Shiv Mahapuran, the duration of residence in heaven for the forefathers of devotees is determined by the quantity of Til Seeds used during Pitra Tarpan in Kashi. As an illustration, if 50 Til Seeds were employed in the Pitra Tarpan, the forefathers are believed to reside in heaven for 50,000 years, symbolizing the profound impact of these sacred rituals performed on the banks of the River Ganga in Kashi.

Explore the various popular Shradh and Tarpan ceremonies offered by the Dharmik Bharat Yatra Foundation, each meticulously designed to honor and uplift the souls of departed ancestors.
